Young Adults Ministry
You Are Invited
Our mission is to help young adults ages 18-30 authenticate their faith by equipping them to understand the bible and build community within the local church.
Sunday School
We utilize an inductive approach to equip members to become lifelong students of the Bible. The class is discussion-based and geared toward all levels of previous Bible knowledge. We work through various books of the Bible section by section and learn to let the scriptures speak for themselves as we discuss them together as a class.
Goals:
Equip young adults to study the Bible and authenticate their faith
Inspire young adults to be curious, search the scriptures, and become lifelong learners
Create a sense of community with other young adults
Help build connection with the church
Events
Gatherings and outings are planned throughout the year and are designed to build community and grow members in their faith. Keep an eye out for upcoming events on our church calendar.

Yearly SBCV Retreat
Each fall SBCV hosts a weekend retreat where young adults from across the state gather to focus on our walk with Christ. It’s an unforgettable weekend packed with corporate worship, truth from God’s Word, and tons of fun. Come connect, recharge, and make memories with new friends! There will be a small cost to defray the cost of food and lodging but finances should not keep anyone from coming.
