Revelation by Jen Wilkin

Revelation can seem like an intimidating book with its descriptions of the end of the age. But this book speaks words of encouragement and assurance, and a call to endure to the end of the age. It also promises blessings for those who obey the words of prophecy in this book.  We need to read and study in order to obey.  This 10-week study will be enhanced by videos from Jen Wilkin. Please contact Patty Eenigenburg (229-400-8480) to let her know if you are interested so she can order a book for you. The books are $25 each and contain a link for all the videos.

LBC Discipleship Study:  Life’s Problems/God’s Solutions

In the upcoming weeks, we will look at 10 of the most perplexing problems that confront Christians today. We would like to think that upon becoming a Christian all our troubles are behind us. However, we soon realize that the “issues of life” are ever present and if not dealt with in a Biblical way, they become areas in our lives that bring doubt, depression, loneliness, and even fear. Christ has not intended for His children to live in the bondage of uncertainly or anything that interrupts our fellowship with Him. This study is designed to encourage us to search the scriptures for answers to life’s problems. Without God’s Word to direct us we will stumble, become misdirected, and fail in many areas of our Christian life. Lastly, this study will help us to become mentors and encouragers to others as ministers of the Gospel. We ask for God’s blessings as we study His Word. Please contact Don Thompson (757-636-3190) to reserve a space and study guides.

You are Not Alone, Single Mothers

God sees you, and He cares. This study will utilize a variety of texts to guide our discussions, so that we can better understand how fully God sees and cares for single mothers. The fellowship will serve as support for the many challenges that a single mother endures and must overcome. Remember Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you [single mothers], declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Call Danielle for more information: 434-444-7386.
