A Study of the Grand Narrative of Scripture by Elizabeth Woodson
Many Christians today are daunted by the Bible, seeing the size and scope of Scripture as intimidating and overwhelming. The result is often a fragmented understanding of parts of the Bible, which leads us to view it through the lens of our individual stories, primarily looking for different verses or passages to help us live our everyday lives. In this 8-session study, we will be guided through the story of the Bible. Weaving together the theological truths found in Genesis through Revelation, this study will show the eternal significance of what God is doing in the world and how he invites us to be a part of it.
This is a group for women led by Meg Puckett on Tuesdays starting September 15 from 7pm - 9pm in the Ministry Center in Room 208.

Iron Men
It can be hard for men to find real, authentic connection. Most of us carry a lot of responsibility. We provide, lead, protect, solve problems, and keep moving forward. But when life gets heavy, many of us don't have a place to talk about it. This won't be a Bible study... but we’ll study the Bible. It won't be a prayer group... but we’ll definitely pray. It won't be a leadership group... but leadership will be a part of it. It won't be therapy... but when a brother is going through something difficult, we'll take the time to walk through it together. The goal is simple: to help each other grow closer to Jesus, strengthen our faith, become better men of God, husbands, and fathers, and have a group of brothers who will encourage each other through the challenges of life. This will be a confidential group. What is shared in the group stays in the group. No pretending. No perfect answers. No performance. Just men pursuing Christ together, celebrating wins, carrying burdens, sharpening one another, and helping each other stay aligned with God's purpose for their lives. More of a round-table discussion than a classroom. More conversation than teaching. More brotherhood than program. All for the Glory of God.
Luke Haag leads this men’s group on Tuesdays starting August 11 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the Main Building on the 2nd Floor in Room 206/207. Contact Luke for more information (LNHAAG@hotmail.com or 404-997-8323).
